Yaw Owusu-Boahen is a mission-driven impact investor dedicated to closing the racial wealth gap through strategic investments in people, places, and platforms.

As Vice President of Impact Investing at ConnCORP, Yaw supports financial modeling and project management for First HAVEN, a transformative mixed-use development in New Haven. He also leads the development of ConnCORP Capital, an investment vehicle designed to provide affordable growth capital to high-potential minority-owned businesses. As Executive Director of the Wealth Accelerator, Yaw launched the Cash Catalyst program, an innovative pilot that combines financial education, advisory support, and capital to help participants invest in their futures.

Yaw began his career at Bain & Company, where he advised Fortune 50 clients across consumer goods, utilities, and social impact sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs and an MBA from Yale School of Management.
